Easy Movin Streaker, known affectionally to the Campwood crew as Dakota, was acquired from Lisa and Brian Fulton in 2014. KJ had a vision of adding more speed to the cowy athletes in the horse program and Dakota exceeded our expectations. Along with the other notable attributes Streak Of Fling passes on, Dakota’s strong maternal line has proven him a phenomenal stallion.
Dakota boasts a dominant roan gene visible in all his colt crops, as well as speed, mind and a balanced conformation. We have been more than thrilled with the offspring he has produced when crossed on running bred, foundation bred and cow bred mares. Dakota was used on the ranch and in the arena until 2019 when he sustained a potentially life threatening injury. With the incomparable skill of Dr. Justin McCormick and a few trips to Home Depot during surgery, Dakota made a full recovery from his broken leg and continues to be a stand out stallion for us.
Dakota’s pedigree boasts a laundry list of accomplishments. Streak Of Fling needs no introduction to his accolades or those of his progeny. Dakota’s 3/4 sister, Streakin Easy April, aka LoLo, has taken two cowgirls, Carlee Pierce and Kellie Collier, to the NFR. LoLo has a LTE of over $350k.

A Rhinestone Cowboy, known around the ranch as De Leon, is our junior stallion with only a few colt crops on the ground. He gets his name from his lion like mane (deLeon is lion in Spanish) that matches his "all in" personality. De Leon is sired by Sadies Frosty Drift, who was sold to Brazil. This dominant barrel horse sire has produced money earners at every level from futurities to pro rodeos.
De Leon's dam, VF Kits An Stones, is a full sister to VF The Rock. barrel racing money earner of over $50k. Their sire, owned by Victory Farms, has a speed index of 104 and over $155k LTE, featuring both Easy Jet and Tiny Charger in paternal and grand dam genetics.
De Leon is used in the ranch when he is not turned out with his mare band. This well mannered stallion is a reliable mount to get any job done.
Notable progeny by Sadies Frosty Drift includes 2016 World Champion, SadiesFamousLastWords, aka Mo, who Mary Burger rode to win the Calgary Stampede, Houston Rodeo and AQHA/WPRA Reserve Horse of the Year in 2016. Mo's lifetime earnings are over $400K to date. SadiesAceInTheHole, aka Ace is another equine athlete making moves in the pro rodeo ranks, running sub 17 seconds on standard patterns and picking up multiple pro rodeo checks.
Dual Winner (1996 - 2020), an own son of Dual Peppy, played a foundational role in our horse program. Kathy & Swayze purchased this young prospect from Greg Ward as a two year old and Dual Winner went on to be trained and shown under Dave Costello. After a decent career in the cutting pen, Dual Winner came back to Arizona where he sired many horses for both Campwood and the RO’s. In 2013, he came back to the 7Up and bred Campwood mares exclusively until he passed in 2019.
Dual Winner's progeny are stamped with talent and ability. His colts can be stingy but are praised and appreciated by cowboys who know good horses. Dual Winner's cowy genetics, athletic ability and determination have formed the solid foundation that our program is built on.
